Who is responsible

AC Exterior is the data controller for the information described here. Contact: hello@acexterior.co.uk.

What is collected

Only what you choose to send by email:

• Your name and email address.
• The town or postcode of the property.
• What needs cleaning, its rough size and any notes.
• Any photographs you choose to attach.

No account is created, no payment details are taken through this website and no special category data is requested.

Why it is used

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out the work if you go ahead. The lawful basis is legitimate interest for replying to an enquiry you started, and performance of a contract once you accept a quote. Your details are never sold or shared for anyone else’s marketing.

Who else sees it

Email is handled by the mail provider for acexterior.co.uk. No analytics, advertising or tracking service is used on this website.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within twelve months. Records for completed jobs are kept for six years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where there is no legal reason to keep it. You can also object to it being used. Email hello@acexterior.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Terms of service

Quotes

A quote is valid for 30 days and is based on what you describe and the photographs you send. If the surface is materially different, the work stops and you are asked before anything else is done. You are never billed for extra work you have not agreed to.

What you need to provide

• Access to the area on the agreed date.
• An outside tap and power socket unless agreed otherwise.
• Vehicles, furniture and fragile items moved from the area.
• Windows and doors closed.

What cannot be promised

Cleaning improves a surface; it does not make it new. Some oil, rust, frost damage, paint and cement haze may be permanent. Where something is unlikely to come out, you will be told before the work.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Cancelling

You can cancel or move a booking free of charge up to 24 hours beforehand. Work is weather-dependent and may need moving from this end too; a new date will be offered.

If something goes wrong

Raise it within 14 days of the work and it will be looked at and, where fair, put right. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Liability and law

Liability is not limited for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, liability for one job is limited to the price of that job. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
